In Gold, the South African Krugerrand is the original 1oz bullion coin, and possibly the most iconic gold coin in the world. It was first minted in 1967, and to celebrate the 50th anniversary in 2017, the mint started production of Silver 1oz Krugerrands ! These are cast in .999 silver, with the same, unchanged iconic design as the original gold coin. The face is of Paul Kruger, and the reverse shows the Springbok, the national symbol of South Africa.
