We currently have an opening for a full time Precious Metals Store Manager starting July 2025 in our Riverview location.

Broadside Bullion Inc. is a precious metals broker with annual sales in excess of $15M. We have 2 retail stores in the Maritimes, and an ecommerce web site. We are the largest dealer in Atlantic Canada with a strong reputation for professional and friendly service and great prices.

Opportunity:

This is a rare opportunity to start work in what continues to be a growth business. The economic situation has created an environment where we are seeing high volumes of both buyers and sellers of gold and silver, and we expect this to continue for several years. We are looking for smart, motivated individuals with good customer service and mathematical skills who are interested in working in this exciting area ! Start date will be July 2025. Complete training will be provided.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Giving advice to customers on precious metals
• Booking orders in store and by telephone
• Taking payment for orders
• Valuing scrap jewelry and silverware (full training provided)
• Updating sales systems with accurate & timely information
• Managing cashflow
• Placing purchase orders with suppliers
• Supervising other staff and operations
• Following necessary security, risk management and inventory protocols

Necessary skills:

• Trustworthiness
• Accurate with numbers and handling cash
• Competent with spreadsheets and computers.
• Personable with customers

Qualifications & Experience:

Strong math skills are a top priority for this position. Candidates should have some experience in retail sales, or possibly finance, banking, or accounting. A university degree or equivalent is preferrable, but not essential for the right candidate. A good understanding of the reasons for investing in bullion is important, and any experience investing in this area will be highly beneficial. Preference will also be given to applicants who show strong analytical and sound computing skills.

Hours & Pay:

Position will be Monday - Friday from 10am - 5pm

Salary will be approx. $55,000, plus personal performance and profit related bonuses, which typically add a further 10%
